We set out to catch a huge carp during winter 2020 after lockdown and landed this beautiful fish. Our objective was to catch carp at Brookwood Trout Estate in Kromdraai. The carp are getting larger as we refine our technique as a everyday father with kids learning to catch specimen carp.
The kids loved this venue. Plenty of places to explore. Huge carp. Many other species. Fly fishing dedicated dams separate from the specimen dam.
