Activities at The Anchorage Vaal Dam include the following
- Fishing along our 300 meter waterfront, with species such as barbel, common carp, mirror carp, grass carp, smallmouth yellowfish, largemouth yellowfish, and mudfish. Fishing equipment available for a nominal charge.
- Infinity Swimming Pool set on Dam edge with kiddies pool, kids play area, and jungle gym with slide, swings, and trampoline.
- Weber braais available at nominal charge for braaing at pool or waterfront.
- Private slipway available – guests are welcome to bring their watercrafts (boats, jetskis, etc.) at no extra charge. Tractor available to assist with launching at minimal fee.
- Beach Volleyball.
- Padel: Padel is similar to tennis and is often described as a mix of tennis and squash. It is typically played in doubles on a smaller court enclosed by glass walls.
